    • Managing and fulfilling requests for peripherals such as monitors, keyboards, tablets and other workstation equipment. Storing, sourcing and delivering equipment to and from employees
    • Monitor calibrations, projector calibrations, maintaining viewing environments etc
    • Assisting the Technology Department with their day-to-day tasks

For this job; over my two years at college I will need to build my confidence using technology as the majority of the tasks listed in this job are assisting and working with technology of some kind. This will include refining my efficiency skills which will develop the more practice I have using the equiptment.

    • Located at the cheerpoint (located close to Broomfield Road and the marquee in the race village (located in Lammas Park, Ealing) capturing the runners in action

To be properly prepared for this job I will need understand the best way to photograph a moving object. This will be learnt as I continue to gain experience using photographic technology within my course.

    • Tasks:
      • First point of contact on behalf of WBDLL for all clients, providing kind, courteous, friendly and patient service at all times to each and every client and colleague
      • Update and complete all daily tasks as listed in the Runner Oracle
      • To provide the Stages with food and refreshments when required
      • To run any errands requested such as delivering packages, buying food and drink outside WBDLL and keeping an accurate record and receipts of all amounts purchased and for whom
      • Maintain a clean and tidy working environment at all times, ensuring, the reception, bar areas and studios are focal points and all should be kept clean and presentable.

To be qualified for this job I will need to improve my organisation skills as the list of tasks is very varied. This means I will have to set myself a schedule to follow so I can keep on top of all my duties. Fortunately as my college course is based on working within set deadlines, I will soon become accustomed to working within a time limit.

This job is mainly tech orientated so hands on experience will definitely be necessary if I want to be a viable candidate in this role. I will need to become proficient using varied equipment and software, whist also showing that I am an asset to the team and an enjoyable person the work will. The additional list of attributes leads me to believe that your personality and conduct means a great deal to this company, so saying positive in all my tasks will be something i’ll have to improve upon.

    • Responsibilities:
      • Creating welcome packs for production companies coming in to use Sky Studios facilities and ensuring a pain-free working experience from start to finish on site
      • Setting up IT and Security passes
      • Submitting visitor requests
      • Meeting and greeting visitors and ensuring they are taken to their hosts in a timely manner
      • Checking edit suites and studios in-line with Client bookings and ensuring a great working environment for our Clients
      • Food and beverage runs for clients in edit and studio
      • Liaising with facilities where required
      • Creating and maintaining accurate media logs. Tracking material through post production and delivery
      • Audience handling for studio records, managing their safe movement on site and providing hospitality
      • A general knowledge of post-production terms/workflows and a basic understanding of studio production is required.
      • Initiative and a proactive attitude is a must as well as excellent client facing skills.
    •  Skills:
      • Ordering keys, supplies, creating signage, tidying facilities as required
